THE QUÉBEC CITY KEBS SIGN MILTON BELL AND JOSEPH FLEGLER

Joseph Flegler (5’10” point guard) and Milton Bell (6’7” forward) have signed on to play with the Québec City Kebs. When Bell was asked why he decided to sign on with the Kebs, his response and commitment was clear. “I really believe in Hasbani’s coaching style and vision. I am sure he is going to attract the right players. I am excited to work with him again.”

Bell played two seasons at Georgetown. In 1993, he began his pro career playing for the CBA.  Going on to play the next 15 overseas in Mexico, Venezuela, Chile and Argentina, where he had previously played with Coach Hasbani. When asked about his vision for the next year with The Québec City Kebs, Bell says, “I am really looking forward to meeting the team at the training camp.” Bell is aware that his experience places in a strategic position of assisting in the development of young talent. “I believe one of the most powerful skills that a player has is the ability to stay positive and focused. With this perspective anything can happen!”

Joseph Flegler played two seasons for Savannah State and has been recognized by his coach as “the best unknown point guard in the country” and is looking forward to joining the team and playing on Canadian soil. Flegler is excited to start off this season playing in the PBL league. He recognizes the talent on the Kebs and the competitiveness of the league.

When asked his vision for The Québec City Kebs he said, “I believe this year will be a year of surprises for the Kebs.” Going on to add, “I am grateful to have the opportunity to play for a wonderful organization like the Kebs. I feel that this year the team under the guidance of Coach Hasbani will celebrate record victories. I am willing to make the sacrifices necessary for the Kebs success.”

The Québec City Kebs is a professional basketball team that competes in the Premier Basketball League (PBL). Composed of 9 teams from Halifax, Oklahoma, Maryland, Vermont, New Hampshire, Buffalo, Rochester, Puerto Rico and Québec, the PBL is based in North America placing only second in popularity to the NBA and its subsidiaries. The Québec City Kebs are the only professional basketball team in the Quebec province and 2010 will be the start of their 4th professional season. The 2010 season begins January 2nd.
